Omar Hi Dee, Just a quick note to say thank you for the great work you did in selling this property. I have to say, that the sale today was an emotional one for me as I shed tears of sadness as well as tears of joy. As you know the property was my late mothers and walking through it today bought back many family memories. It was sad to see it go. Mum and dad bought the house in the mid-1970s as an investment property and both worked hard to pay it off. Unfortunately they divorced some 10 years later; it became our house of residence for mum and her 3 children. Being a single mum, she worked hard to provide food and shelter for us and as time went on her 3 children grew up, either got married and/or moved out. Fortunately mum found another partner and she was able to re-marry and move in with him. So the property became an investment property again. I have very fond memories of the house, which is why I wanted to get the most for it - not just for me, but for my late mother as well. I didn't want all those years of her sacrifice to be thrown out. This is why I chose you to manage the sale. As you know, we have known each other for a while and you looked after the sale of my sister's house some 6 years ago achieving a great result. She followed your every instruction and a near record sale was achieved! As you know, we had several discussions during the lead up to the sale and you would advise me what to do, which at times, I must admit, I questioned. If I had to relate it to my business - you got to a restaurant, you don't tell the chef how to cook, you trust them. Same in your business don't tell them how to do their job, put your trust in the agent. They know what they are doing. Your strategy was spot on leading up to the auction. Your strategy achieved a result which was over our expectation. So on behalf of my brother and sister.... and mum - thank you.
