Meet Sam Master - How did you get into Real Estate?

"It wasn't really about property but it was just more about how can I solve a problem at a larger scale, and real estate definitely fit the bill for me"

I had a chat with Sam Master

A cool guy with a captivating presence about him. I had the opportunity to sit down with him and chat about his career, previous jobs and what it takes to build a strong foundation in Real Estate.

Here is part 1of 4 of the Meet Sam Master series.
Enter Sam Master:

"I've been in real estate since 2008. I did my course end of 2008 and started working in that late 2008 early 2009.

So before real estate or being part of the sales industry, I was I was doing telemarketing sales, door-to-door sales. So being somehow connected to the sales industry since I was 18, my first job was at McDonald's and my sister, she was working for a telemarketing company, and she got me a gig in there.

I just started having fun, you know speaking to people solving their problems somehow, obviously
I was selling telecom telecommunications packages so we were just making sure that they're getting the best deal out there, and yeah just helping people so that's how that's why I've stuck to sales and I really enjoyed it.

There came a time in my career where I was asking myself a question "where do I go from here", I knew that I loved sales, I love the sales industry, I love problem-solving but I wanted to take it to the next level and I did my research and real estate came about. It wasn't really about property but it was just more about how can I solve a problem at a larger scale, and real estate definitely fit the bill for me.

I did my research, I didn't know anyone in real estate so I did the course at Swinburne which was part-time so I was still working full time during the day, at my sales job telemarketing and in the evenings I was twice a week from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. I did my real estate course".
